A bit about me
I grew up in Kent. Good times. Then I studied marketing and advertising in London. In those days we talked about things being above and below the line. And if you were lucky, even through the line. Then things went online. I’m not sure what happened to the other line.
After London I lived in Bristol. There, I worked as an account handler for leading design agencies, working mainly with global FMCG brands. Then I moved into brand strategy. I also reviewed music for Crack Magazine and began freelance copywriting.
In 2018, I moved to Cornwall. I wanted to find a new rhythm and help purpose-led brands. Then, in late 2019, I went freelance. Gulp. Great timing. Tough for all.
But I haven’t looked back.
I have a passion for brands doing great work as much as for words that do the same. I like walking and getting in the water; the ocean keeps me in check, and I’ve recently completed the South West Coast Path.
